LUCYAN

LUCYAN..... Lucjan Wesolowski, originally from Poland, now calls Italy his home. He is a talented composer and musician, equally proficient with many instruments.....among them are Sitar, Bansuri, Guitar, Saz, and many others. He has composed and played music that has been recorded on 12 CD's and cassettes and also has composed music for a number of theatre pieces. His music can be heard throughout Pland, Italy, Hungary and the US. We find his music to be relaxing and delightfully refreshing at the same time with a nice blend of Bhajans (spiritual songs) and a contemporary world sound.

He is currently the leader of 3 groups:
 

1."Orientacja na Orient" which was formed in Poland in April 1983. The band presents his compositions inspired by the Orient and original Oriental pieces.
2."The Lucyan Group" which has been in existence in Italy since 1994 and features a similar  repertory to Orientacja na Orient.
3."Lucyan and Orient-ation" which has been playing in Italy since September 2001 and features his compositions which are a mixture of jazz, Oriental and Latin music.
Lucyan is a member of "Shakti Vilas" group which presents original Indian bhajans.

We have a sound clip from one of his more recent projects. It features Patrizia Saterini who is singing and also plays the harmonium. Lucyan is playing the Saz and the Tabla is by Nicola Artico and Clarence Swapan Gomez.
