that we will get more than are in stock of any particular item. Some are
"folk" instruments and so can be a little rough but are quite playable,
other percussion instruments are professional instruments.

GUBGUBA:
Also called the KHAMAK, GUBA, etc. is an
instrument similar to a small drum with a single drumhead with a string
fixed to one end of the skin. It is plucked with a pick (not included,
you can use anything really!) and percussive notes are produced by
controlling the tension of the string. Used in folk music in Bengal and
to accompany Baul and Phakir singers. We have a large one and a small
one with a single string.

A Bengali folk dotara - 5 strings. Has metal finger board and goat
skin sound box cover. (similar to a Sarode) Bird head
decorates the top end. Scale length is 18 inches, overall length
is 31 inches.
