A fine selection of professional level Persian musical instruments
from Iran and Kurdistan hand picked for Sitars Etc. Instruments of this type
are very uncommon in the West and limited to very low quality. Our
instruments are well suited for the Western performer of Persian Classical
or World music. Please note that most of the Persian instruments need to be
special ordered, there are not standard models or designs that we can get on
a repetitive basis. An associate in Iran who is also a musician hand picks
them for us based on your requirements. Delivery usually within 4 to 8 weeks
unless in stock.

Settar
Settar is an old instrument, some say the name was
given to the East Indian Sitar also, it is favored by Sufi's in their music. Fingering
and tuning is generally the same as the Tar. We have one in stock currently,
2 types are available. Comes with padded gig bag.
Professional level Tar ( or Taar ) from
Iran at various grades avaiable on special order. Price range is $1000 to
$4000 USD. Each instrument is hand picked and comes with a hard case and set
of strings.

require such as Qanun, Santur,Daf,Tonbak,Chang,kemanche and others that are
far from the tourist type instruments you would see elsewhere. Due to large
number of counterfeits we cannot guarantee certain specific makers until our
