Rikhi Ram's Music of New Delhi, this is another one of
Sanjay Sharma's masterpiece sitars. Made in the Vilayat Khan style and
constructed from 25+ year old aged tun wood. Unequaled sound combined with
an elegant simplicity and the warm sound of mahogany wood, this sitar is
guaranteed to satisfy even the most demanding musician. |

Select gourds from Maharashtra are used for the
tumba. These gourds are known for their strength and hardness and produce a
superior tone. They are also extensively polished with shellac with
particular attention to the drying time necessary to achieve a durable and
glossy finish. |

Aged Indian Mahogany (tun) wood, over 25 years
old at the very least is used. Perfect grain, blemish free and quatersawn
neck. |

Beautifully decorated carvings
perfectly matched with faux mother of pearl inlay. A touch of penwork
near the pegs combined with a mirror smooth french polished finish.

Every sitar by Rikhi Ram's Music comes with
a specially made Rikhi Ram fiberglass case and padded case cover. These
cases are made of hi-grade fiberglass and each one is molded to the
sitar for a snug fit and takes the worry out of transporting your
instrument. An embossed Rikhi Ram logo adds the final touch to the
case.
