Some
notes about our
Shawls/scarves
We are not getting into the clothing
business, but we are trying to provide items that our customers request from
us, and which they need either to wear for the stage or just to bring a
feeling of India into their lives. I especially like the pajami, since
they are loose fitting and not restricting, that helps when sitting for long
periods of time. These are not tourist clothing, these are the very
same kinds of Kurta and pajami worn by musicians in India, either for stage
presentations or in day to day life. We think they're great, I hope
you like them too! More style and colors will be available later, some
are available now by request. The ones pictured here are in stock.
Some bothersome rules about clothing:
All sales are final, we cannot accept returns on
clothing. All clothing is sold as is without any guarantees. All
clothing is made in India by hand and due to this there may small
imperfections, but that adds to the uniqueness of the items in our
opinion. With the exception of shipping damages, we will not be
able to offer refunds or exchanges for sanitation and health reasons,
as well.
Imperfections and blemishes: Although, all care is given to protect the items, they do come sometimes
with minor imperfections, blemishes, etc. We have no control over
these, but we assure you that they are minor or we would not offer them for
sale.
Due to the fact that we
are not in the clothing business and we are doing this only as a service to
our customers, it is impossible for us to offer all the niceties of a retail
establishment dedicated to the clothing business. We hope you
understand.
We
can special order any color or design,
please email
info@sitarsetc.com with your
requirements. We can have item hand made and hand tailored to your
specifications, measurements, of course, will be required. All special
orders must be pre-paid. Clothing order will come from India with our
regular instrument shipping to save on shipping charges and to keep our
prices down. Please be patient when ordering.
Shipping Charges
Standard shipping rate on clothing is $8.50
for the first item and $2 for each additional item for the US and Canada
regardless of number of items ordered unless shipping is otherwise noted.
Shipping charges to all other countries will be calculated and added to the
order using the least expensive shipping method. We will combine
weight when ordering several items to obtain maximum shipping savings for
you. All shipping charges will be charged upon final processing of
your order, thanks!
